It is one of the most popular beaches of Corfu and its name originates from the church of Agios Gordios located literally on the sea, at the centre of the beach.

The beautiful cove nests amongst the lush green mountain, surrounded by olive tree forests, vineyards and impressive rocks. To reach the beach of Agios Gordios you may travel through a beautiful road full of vineyards and high olive trees.

Once you reach the beach you will meet plenty of tourist facilities to enjoy a comfortable sunbathing experience. The crystalline waters are ideal for a refreshing swim, while water sports equipment is also available for both children and adults.

The beach is bordered by the impressive Ortholithi, a huge rock emerging from the sea.
