The picturesque and authentic village of Pelekas is situated 13 km away from Corfu Town. It is located on the top of one of the most beautiful hills of the island, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

The small village is quite busy, as it is maintained as an access point for some of the great beaches nearby. Pelekas beach by itself is pretty small, with plenty of restaurants and a relaxing view to the sea. The beach is mildly developed and as such, only a few beach facilities are available. Above the beach sits the traditional village, where you will find a decent variety of restaurants. From the small hill known as the Kaiser’s Throne, one can admire the amazing sunset views.

Right on this fabulous location you will find some modern ramparts and a car park, with the addition of a lovely café, which is overlooking the island. In close proximity of the village, the three beautiful sandy beaches of Glyfada, Pelekas and Myrtiotissa are located.
